@whose
Indeed there is a cache for thumbnails, currently not configurable but limited to approx. 2MB in size, so if your RAM got eaten by photoframe there's probably a bug somewhere ;-). I'll check this.

I discovered a minor glitch of photoframe.docky... it seems to hold the thumbnails of a slideshow in RAM for further usage. This may lead to memory exhaust, if you have several 1000 pics in the dir displayed via slideshow. Maybe this behaviour can be made configurable in future versions? Most OS4 machines are fast enough to make the thumbnails on the fly ;)

Regards

Ooops, forgot to remove debug output, should be fixed in next release.

Hi! Phoframe-docky 51.3 seems to continuosly print out some debug data maybe using DebugPrintF() (comes to SashimiPPC), does it have some kind of busy loop?

Excellent. Many Thanks.

That's strange, the settings should be kept within AmiDock's own prefs. AFAIK
AmiDock checks if its prefs have changed every second, so you may have to wait a
bit before rebooting. Try to save manually Amidock settings (but it should be
automatic).

@CentaurZ
Could you make it save settings so they would be loaded next time I boot. Now I
have to add directories (containing pictures) everytime (after boot).

Thanks. Version 51.2 works fine.

Stupid me, I forgot to test with compositing on. New version on the way...

Here too the pictures aren't shown in the docky but I found that it's because I
have compositing enabled. It works when I disable it.

Oops...
The pictures are loaded using datatypes. So jpeg, png and friends should work.
Is the frame around the picture rendered ? Does the docky seem to be stuck, e.g
can you change the size, quit the docky or open the preferences ? Does the
pop-up window appears when you hold the LMB on the docky ?

This new version 51.1 doesn't work. I don't see any pictures. Btw. What picture
formats it supports ?

REALLY NICE!
2 things:

1 - Plz add a random option to show pics...
2 - If frame set to 0 photoframe locks up all AmigaOS4.1... :-(

GOOD WORK!
