I'm running 1920 x 1080 here. Scaling works is here. I'll create some images of that size and try it just to be sure.

Is big pictures well fitted for you ? For example, if you have a screen resolution of 1900 x 1080, is a 3200 x 2400 picture well fitted ?
On my system, no ! And on yours ? Just by curiosity...
Thank for reply

For me the problem is only with big pictures.
Big pictures are well fitted in the preview but not when blanker runs normally.
For examples, I have pictures from camera ( 3456 x 2592 ) who are not fitted on the screen. They are not scaled => they look like zoomed.
I use a 1920 x 1080 screen, if it could be the problem...

For small picture, it's OK, they are centered with a black background.

Thank you,

Hi zzd10h,

I do scale images down to fit the screen correctly. When it comes to altering the image to get bigger, I've left that alone for now. It would be an easy matter of also scaling when the image is smaller then the screen. When I test it some of the images I use are small, 640x480. Just wondering what size the images are that you want to see upscaled? Maybe I could build in an option to allow scaling on All, Some (anything that does not need more then 2X), or None. What do you think?

Glad to hear it's working!

Great, this version works fine (preview picture and picture displayed OK) !

Just 2 minors things :
-the pictures are not fitted to screen
-debug info (in Sashimi) even with no debug version

With fitted pictures, it will be a very nice Blanker.

Hi Guys,

Feel free to email me and I can send over a version that has serial debug turned on. This will help me track down the crash.

zzd10h: When you selected the directory with images did any show up in the preview before it crashed?

Thanks,
Bill

Tested on latest os with pointing out in module prefs on "work:" for scan images. Once i press "test full screen" , blanker just crashes after showing an one of images. Retested the same with debug version and the same crash happens, and stack trace looks like this:
