City Generator generates a random population distribution for a medieval
fantasy city, town, or a village. It is based on Paul Stafford's
Rolemaster City Generator tool.

City Generator can be used for its original purpose, for generating a city
population distribution for Iron Crown Enterprises's Rolemaster tabletop
role-playing game, or for generating a population distribution for a
computer role-playing game under development.

City Generator generates a list of institutions located in the city area
and 13 social classes: Soldiers, Monks, Priests & Knights, Healers,
Criminals, Essence Masters, Performers, Special Agents, Sages, Pagan
Priests, Manipulators, Evil Spell Casters, and Specialists. The generator
then fills the classes with 2-9 professions and distributes a number of
people between them.

In addition to the tool itself, the AmigaOS 4 release contains refactored
C source code, refined city statistics, bug fixes, instructions, and a
script for generating several cities in a row. The script provides also
an easy to use GUI for City Generator.
