Mate, any chance to port Crispy Doom aswell ?

https://www.chocolate-doom.org/wiki/index.php/Crispy_Doom

Crispy is a fork of Chocolate Doom that provides higher resolution display, along with a fresh new port of Chocolate will be perfect for the fun :-))

Some strange bug: Chocolate-heretic gives DSI (80000003) when I try to owerwrite save postion (WinUAE/OS4.1FE), saving on empty slot is OK.

Oh, I'm sorry, the file CMDLINE is missing. It's here (as .txt) http://www.chocolate-doom.org/downloads/2.2.0/chocolate-doom-2.2.0-win32.zip .

Ah, it was a case of going with configure & make, the flag to do dynamic binary was added automatically. Relink and -upload in progress.

Version 1.7.0 require libtiff.so.3, where i can download it ?
.. btw isn't better to provide a static version instead ? All that extra deps to find and install separately still always annoying, as other developer suggest just provide a simple static version and everyone will win :-)

Works great here on Sam440-flex, must be 10 years since I last played Doom :-)

Samo79 : on Sam440 and A1XE G4, musics sound exacltly the same with PrBoom and Chocolate Doom with no distorsion, exactly the same (since they both use the same GusFont). IMHO, you screwed your configuration of PrBoomGL.

But of course, music will never sounds as the original music since you'd need a MIDI interface.

@K-L
Sadly not, i installed the gus_soundfont to play with PrBoom but midi musics are a bit distorted here or atleast not identical to the original Doom's music.
I asked Huno but if i remember correctly he say that gus_soundfonts are a bit buggy ..

I even tryed ADoom 68k but sound doesn't work under AmigaOS4 :-/

Exaclty as the original, funny :-)

Samo79 : PrBoomGL (which is way nicer thanks to MiniGL) does play MiDi musics witout any problem and they sound exactly the same as in Chocolate Doom.
