Works fine here on my XE with Radeon 7500 (without starting warp3d application
first).

there seems to be 2 problems:
- the first one, up4 doesn't install threads.library, and doing a full install
on a new partition, you loose this lib. Just copy it from your update3 backup.
- the second problem seems to be minigl related, it doesn't init properly the
hardware. As a temporary solution, run first a w3d only executable (ie WarpView
or Face3d)

I'm afraid it's an old and known problem then, with MiniGL apps, but I haven't
heard it to happen with non-Radeon 7000 cards yet!

@Curty

I suppose that GLTron doesn't set up warp3d/gl correctly then.

I had this problem too it dead locks the machine, But if I run say warp view or
Heretic 2 and then GLTron works fine, I wonder why?
By the way I have a A1-XE 800mhz G4, with a Radeon 9200 if that helps?

I've downloaded the archive, checked with the original, and it seems to be ok.
The binary was tested on:
A1SE-G3 / Radeon 7500
mA1-G3 / Radeon 7000
A1XE-G4 / Radeon 9200SE

Try setting WB @ 16 bit and please report the results

Bean: does this version work after you have ran Warpview? Or are there
differences in the binary?

Bad archive? The one from your homepage works for me.

Matrix saver works with some graphic glitches. Warpview works fine.
(Radeon 7000)

Just a wild idea...can you try some known-to-work Warp3D (not *MiniGL*) program
first? (WarpView, Matrix saver?)

Tried with R7000 and I can't get it to work. Freezes my machine.

Tried 1600*1200 16Bit and 1024*768 16Bit, same result. Total freeze.

Does not work on my A1 XE G4 800, Radeon 9000. 1Gb mem. Open ups a window with
gray contents and freezes the whole OS. Using update 4.
1600*1200 32Bit ARGB
