@Trixie That's awesome! Recording in 24-bit is what people want. Thanks for telling!

@HKvalhe The Envy24HT AHI driver you need for the ESI Juli@ does support 24 bit! I've just recorded a 24-bit AIFF sample using Thomas Wenzel's Advanced AHI Recorder. Of course you need to select the 24-bit Line In as source (the 16-bit Line In is set by default).

I understand there's no 24-bit AHI driver for ESI@Juli. The irony is that the soundcard is fully capable to have full 24-bit support. It's possible that it's something the A-EON team can do, since they worked on the Sound Preference in Enhancer, and Lyle Hazelwood worked on the HD Audio driver for both the X1000 and the X5000. Yes, there's no 24-bit AHI driver, but that doesn't mean it's not possible to make one, considering what a card like ESI@Juli actually can do.

There is no 24 bit mode for the ENVY24HT as i recall. You only can use 16 bit...

I can confirm that this driver, which is also Part of AmigaOS4.1 Update 5 is working with the PCI-Express-Version of the ESI Juli@ Xte on SAM460ex Lite: http://www.amigaos.info/fingus/julia_xte_on_sam460_working.jpg

ouch, since the aos4/a1 sound lockups seems to have been nailed down to being the fault of soundblaster cards i looked into buying one of these supported cards, but they are way to expensive for me... is there any cheaper cards out there that might work with this driver?
